Waiting for Godot Blog Task

Image
This Blog is a part of my academic activity, Task given by Dr. Dilip Barad on the Play "Waiting for Godot" Click here for the link of the task My interpretations of the points are as follow. 1) The tree is the only important ‘thing’ in the setting. What is the importance of tree in both acts? Why does Beckett grow a few leaves in Act II on the barren tree - The tree has four or five leaves - ?     Ans:  This play marks the profound influence of World war 2. so setting is full of broken images. But 'Tree' is only important thing in the setting. It describes the Nature and Universe. It remains indifferent or unaffected from the actions and deeds of human beings. Estragon and vladimir are constantly waiting for Godot. They have done useless things while waiting. But it changes nothing in Universe. The cycle of Nature goes on without caring for Human deeds.      2)  The director feels the setting with some debris. Can you read any meaning in th

Play Review

"Digdarshak The Hindi Play"                                     On 8th August Film screening committee of Department of English organised the screening of one act  play named "Digdarshak". it was worth watching play as it has portrayed the conflict between Theater and cinema. this is a main theme which captures the audience's attention. This play is written by 'Priyam jani' and Directed by 'Rishit jhaveri'.                                      We find autobiographical elements of Directer himself in the play. Directer  trained an actor very well for best acting. he gave his everything to theater and spend larger amount of time at theater. He has same expectation from his actors that they should give prime priority to theater. It's very hard job to work in theater where you have to give ample time to work. but if one is interested in such work than Hard thing become easier one.

We got a charming opportunity to watch such a play. which describes spiritual relationship between Mahatma Gandhi and Shreemad Rajchandraji. they both met in the year of 1891. which marked the great spiritual turn in the life of Gandhiji. Chemistry between both of them was thing to praise.                                       Shreemad Rajchandraji was great human being with unbelievable spirit and strength. who was able to inspire our Father of the Nation. he was full of courtesy and morality. Who gained self-revelation at the age of only seven. after that he was only interested in inner-self and forgot to care of his physical body and died at the age of 33. He was capable of doing hundred works at the same time known as "Shatavdhan". Then he was invited by foreign country for this experiment but he denied  to go and he rejected fame and name for concentrating on self. He was very good merchant but not inte

" To The Lighthouse" Blog task

" To The Lighthouse"             Here are my answers according to the task given by Dr. Dilip Barad             Click here for the Blog link of given task. (1)               Virginia Woolf is the master of stream of consciousness. she was fully conscious of the inadequacy of human relationship. one of the main reason of the failure to establish satisfactory human relationship is that the words are main source of communication between one-another. but sometimes words fail to express full complexity of a character's thought and and feelings. so sometimes they become misleading. Mrs.Woolf was aware about it so she tried stream of consciousness technique. Ms.Lily thought that, " About life, about death: about Mrs.  Ramsay- no she thought one could say nothing to nobody. words fluttered sideways and struck the object to low. how could one express in words these emotions of the body?"                     More of
