"Christianity and Harry potter"

Christianity and Harry Potter series are not connected directly. Harry and his friends never visit any church in Novel. Or they never pray to God to save them from evil spirit. It seems that J.K Rowling wants to discard Christianity from her novel.

But several glimpse of Christianity can be found in the novel such as Wizards celebrate the two major Christianity festivals, Easter and Christmas. Albus Dumbledore owned a copy of the Christian Bible. It is therefore possible he was a member of the Christian faith to some degree. However, given Dumbledore's worldliness, he may keep the copy out of a desire for knowledge and not out of his personal religious devotion.

While millions of people around the world read and enjoy the "Harry Potter" books, there are many people that object to the content of the Harry Potter books, stating that they go against the word of God. The objections are based on the bible teaching that practicing witchcraft or other occult acts is a sin.
